What are you pinning? Is Pinterest one of your TOP social platforms?
When it comes to deciding which is the best social media platform to use for your business, Pinterest is right there “TOP” of the list. Pinterest has revolutionized the social media landscape and is now one of the big players with a huge fan base.
I want to share with you, an infographic that I found very informative from Alight, which focus on the rise in interest and use of the social media platform.
Pinterest has a fan base that is growing impressively fast, specifically an enormous female audience. [Click to Tweet]
One in four consumers report spending more time on Pinterest instead of other social media sites – and those users are making a difference. Facebook has reported a 3% decrease in the time spent on the site within the last month.
When making a marketing plan for your business, especially if you are in the fashion business, Pinterest is one very important part of the puzzle. With such a high number of users, share conversion, and an average order value three times over what Facebook purchases generate, it’s critical to incorporate Pinterest into your business’s social media presence.
If your industry is food related, home improvements, arts and crafts, style and fashion, travel, humor and so much more ( have a look below!!), you need to strategically place your business within Pinterest as this will drive traffic and views to your website and therefore increase the opportunity to convert those eager and curious customers into sales.
Now is your turn. Are you already on Pinterest? What has been your experience? Tell us your struggles and successes. I would love to know the and discuss them here below in the comments area.
If you found this helpful or you know of somebody who will benefit from this information, please share. If otherwise you have any questions regarding Pinterest or any other social media platforms… just ask me and I’ll try my best to help.
